Is This Event Right For You?
Best fit if you enjoy championship openers — 2026 Repco Supercars Championship season-opener features Toyota's historic competitive series debut, three-race sprint format kicks off 14-round calendar, fresh championship battles begin.
Best fit if you like night racing — Australia's only Supercars night race under LED lighting towers, Turn 1 at 200 km/h makes it arguably the country's fastest corner, 43-meter elevation changes visible across illuminated 3.93km circuit.
Best fit if you value family-friendly events — Free Friday entry for all ages, kids 12-under free all weekend with paying adult, AU$42 single-day general admission, live music and festival atmosphere beyond racing.
Not ideal if you prefer street circuit racing — Permanent circuit format with flowing corners and acceleration zones rather than street circuit walls, Sydney Motorsport Park's open layout lacks urban backdrop of original 2009-2016 Sydney 500 street course.
