About This Event

Japan's premier GT championship since 1994, opening each season at the 3.7km Okayama International Circuit carved into the rolling hills of western Japan. • Eleven technical corners including prime overtaking spots at Turns 1, 5, and 8
  • Two-stage knockout qualifying determines grid positions
  • Pit walks included on both days plus driver appearances on race day

  • Best fit if you enjoy championship openers — 34th Super GT season kicks off at traditional Okayama venue, unballasted cars run maximum performance before success handicap system loads weight onto early leaders.
  • Best fit if you value technical circuits — 3.7km Okayama carved through rolling hills features 13 corners named after British racing drivers (Hobbs, Moss, Redman, Williams), reasonable elevation changes test chassis setup.
  • Best fit if you like manufacturer motorsport — GT500 class showcases factory Toyota, Honda, Nissan teams with 650+ hp prototypes, GT300 adds independent teams, two-class racing creates varied pace interactions across 300km.
  • Not ideal if you prefer endurance racing — sprint format with one compulsory pit stop rather than endurance strategy, 300km distance finishes in approximately two hours versus multi-hour or 24-hour challenges.
