2026 Rally Maya México

A nine-day regularity rally for historic and classic cars across southeastern Mexico, running 27 February–7 March 2026. The route links Palenque, Calakmul and Caribbean-coast stages with cultural visits and community projects.

Organised from CATVI (Palenque) and sanctioned as a FIVA/heritage regularity event, the Rally Maya México combines touring, archaeology stops and charitable activities rather than outright speed competition.

See classic cars touring Mexico’s jungle and coast on a purpose-built regularity route.

What makes it worth the trip:

• Historic cars navigating scenic stages including Palenque and Calakmul archaeological zones.
• Cultural programme with guided visits to heritage sites and organised community activities.
• A non-speed regularity format that prioritises navigation, precision and sightseeing over outright racing.

Best way to experience it:

Attend a stage day based out of CATVI in Palenque to catch start/finish activity, attend hospitality zones and join guided spectator points. Book lodging in advance around Palenque and coordinate transport between stages—some stages are remote and require a car or event shuttles.

Good to know:

• Competitor entry and official hospitality packages are listed on the organiser site; spectator access to many public stages can be free but logistics vary.
• The rally covers roughly 1,400 km across Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, with some long transfer days.

• Great if you want a car-focused cultural tour that includes archaeology and community projects.
• Great if you enjoy historic/collector cars and non-speed regularity competition.
• Great if you like organised access to remote stages with guided spectator points and hospitality.
• Maybe skip if you prefer high-speed motorsport or densely scheduled race events.
