2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race
About This Event
This is the last race of the 2026 Craftsman Truck Series Chase, and with no eliminations in this year's format, the driver holding the most Chase points when the checkered flag falls is the series champion. It is a Friday night race on Homestead-Miami Speedway's 1.5 mile oval, banked 18 to 20 degrees in the turns, and it opens NASCAR Championship Weekend at the track.
What to Expect
- Thursday 5 November is the first night on track: spectator gates open at Gate D at 6:00pm and the Truck Series practises from 6:30pm to 7:20pm.
- Friday 6 November starts at 2:00pm, when Gates A, B and D open, then Truck Series qualifying runs 2:30pm to 3:30pm, O'Reilly Auto Parts Series practice 4:00pm to 4:50pm and Cup Series practice 5:30pm to 6:20pm.
- Driver introductions are at 7:10pm and the green flag drops at 7:30pm for 134 laps, 201 miles in all.
- The Fan Zone is open from gate opening until the checkered flag, with a Landen Lewis Q&A from 4:30pm to 4:45pm and a Truck Series contenders Q&A at the NASCAR Experience from 5:00pm to 5:15pm.
- After the race the Truck Series Championship Celebration is held on the frontstretch, with fan access through Crossover Gates 1 and 3.
Best Way to Experience It
- A Friday ticket covers the whole afternoon, not just the race, so qualifying, the O'Reilly and Cup practice sessions and the Fan Zone all fit in before driver introductions.
- General admission is in sections 198 to 202 and 246 to 254. Reserved seats are sections 203 to 245, with sections 222 to 234 on the top Friday price tier.
- A Racing Electronics scanner, rented through the speedway's ticket page, carries the live race radio feed or a chosen driver's team radio.
- The 3-Day package adds Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race and Sunday's Cup Series race to Friday's.
Good to Know
- Driving: The speedway is south of Miami at One Ralph Sanchez Speedway Boulevard, Homestead. SW 336th Street leads to Gates A and B and the main car parks, and Alex Muxo Jr. Boulevard leads to Gate D and Lot 8. Friday car parks open at 12:00pm and are sold in advance on Ticketmaster from US$17.02 (2026, fees included). Free trams run from the Park and Ride lot by Credentials and Shipping to Lots 1 and 2 and Gate A, into the infield through the Jimmie Johnson Vehicle Tunnel, and along Speedway Boulevard.
- Public transport: The speedway publishes no public transport route to the track for Championship Weekend.
- Rideshare and taxis: Uber and Lyft both operate in Miami. The speedway's rideshare drop off area is near Lot 8, reached from Alex Muxo Jr. Boulevard by Gate D.
- Best value route: With no published transit route or rideshare fare, a car with a Friday pass for Lot 1 or Lot 6 at US$17.02 (2026) is the cheapest published way in.
- Tickets: Friday tickets start at US$28.38 (2026, fees included) for general admission on the speedway's Ticketmaster page.
- Gates and reentry: Leaving and coming back in works by having the ticket scanned out by a gate attendant on the way out.
- Bringing things in: Two bags per person up to 18 x 18 x 14 inches and one soft sided cooler up to 14 x 14 x 14 inches. Sealed, prepackaged food and drink is allowed, alcohol included but no glass, plus ice and insulated cups up to 64 oz. Alcohol bought inside cannot leave the gates. Foam and hard coolers, collapsible chairs, wagons, camera bags, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks and drones are not allowed; seat cushions with no metal parts are.
- Cash and cards: All food, drink, ticket and merchandise sales at the speedway are cashless.

Is This Event Right For You?
- Only here for the trucks? Friday is sold as its own day ticket. The Pre-Race Pass with pit road access before the green flag is sold for Sunday's Cup race only, not for Friday.
- Suitable for kids? Children aged 12 years and under need a ticket: free in the general admission sections and US$11.35 (2026) in reserved sections 203 to 245. The LEGO City NASCAR Kids Zone in the Fan Zone is free with admission, and the speedway strongly recommends earplugs or noise cancelling headphones for kids.
- Worried about rain? A rain delay of any length keeps the race on the same night, even past midnight, and brings no exchange. Only a postponement to another date lets unused grandstand tickets bought direct from the track be swapped, within 60 days, for a future NASCAR race or next year's race of equal or lesser value. There are no cash refunds, and resale tickets, parking and camping are not covered.
- Need accessible seating? Wheelchair seating is on row 49 of the upper grandstand, reached by elevator. Accessible parking is in Lot 5 and is bought by phone on 866 409 7223, and free assistance carts take one guest with a disability plus a companion.
