2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Championship Race
About This Event
The NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season ends at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and whichever of the 12 drivers in The Chase leaves with the most points is the champion. The track is a 1.5 mile oval with turns banked progressively from 18 to 20 degrees. It is the Saturday race of NASCAR Championship Weekend, between the Truck Series finale on Friday night and the Cup Series finale on Sunday.
What to Expect
- 200 laps and 300 miles, with stage breaks at laps 45 and 90 and the green flag at 5:00pm Eastern time, after driver introductions at 4:25pm.
- The 2026 Chase has no eliminations: nine races, points reseeded once from 2,100 for the top seed down to 2,020 for 12th, and 55 points for a race win.
- Saturday on track starts with O'Reilly Series qualifying from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, and Cup Series qualifying is on the same afternoon's schedule.
- The O'Reilly Series has one practice, Friday from 4:00pm to 4:50pm, the same afternoon as the Truck Series championship race.
- The NASCAR Experience area has the O'Reilly championship contenders Q&A at 2:30pm and a post race concert by Orlando Mendez from 8:00pm to 9:30pm, plus games, simulators and driver appearances.
Best Way to Experience It
- Two tickets cover this race: a Saturday only grandstand ticket, or the 3 Day ticket that adds Friday's O'Reilly practice and Truck Series race and Sunday's Cup Series finale.
- The grandstands are Turn 1, Turn 4, Frontstretch East, Frontstretch West and Start/Finish, with the Speedway Terrace above the three frontstretch stands and its own elevator for Terrace ticket holders.
- Between qualifying and driver introductions there is the contenders Q&A, the Fan Zone and the Midway, where the vendors, food and official merchandise are.
- Racing Electronics scanners are rented through the speedway's Ticketmaster page, for the live race broadcast or one team's radio.
- After the checkered flag, fans reach the O'Reilly Series championship celebration on the frontstretch through Crossover Gates 1 and 3.
Good to Know
- Driving: Homestead is south of Miami. The speedway tells drivers to follow signage and police directions and to use Waze for GPS. Every lot is paid and there is no free parking: lots sit along SW 336th Street and Speedway Boulevard, preferred lots need a pass bought in advance, and parking can be reserved through the speedway's Ticketmaster page. Lots open at 10:00am on Saturday.
- Public transport: The speedway publishes no public transport route for 2026. Free trams link the lots and gates: Blue from the Park and Ride Lot to Gate A, Red along Speedway Boulevard with a Lot 8 stop, and Purple into the infield.
- Rideshare and taxis: Uber and Lyft both run in Miami. The rideshare drop off is beside Lot 8, off Alex Muxo Jr. Boulevard near Gate D.
- Best value route: Without a car, the route the speedway publishes is a rideshare to the Lot 8 drop off, then the free Red Tram along Speedway Boulevard.
- Gates and reentry: Spectator gates A, B and D open at 12:30pm on Saturday. Reentry is allowed on race day: a gate attendant scans the ticket out and the same ticket is scanned back in. Tickets are digital and download in advance; the Ticket Office is on Ralph Sanchez Speedway Boulevard across from Gate 3, needs photo ID and takes no third party will call.
- Tickets: Saturday only and 3 Day grandstand tickets are sold through Ticketmaster from the speedway's Championship tickets page, or on 866-409-7223. All purchases are final.
- Bringing things in: Two bags per person, each up to 18 x 18 x 14 inches (46 x 46 x 36 cm). One soft cooler up to 14 inches (36 cm) a side counts as one of the two; hard and foam coolers are banned. Sealed food and drink, alcohol included, is allowed with ice and insulated cups up to 64 oz (1.9 litres), but no glass. Folding chairs, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks and drones are not allowed; seat cushions with no metal parts are.
- Cash and cards: Food, drink, ticket and merchandise sales are all cashless.

Is This Event Right For You?
- Suitable for kids? Children 12 years and under need a ticket: US$11.35 in reserved sections 203 to 245, or free in general admission sections 198 to 202 and 246 to 254 (2026), still with a barcode. The LEGO City NASCAR Kids Zone in the Fan Zone is free with admission (face painting, simulators, RC cars, LEGO builds), child ID wristbands are free, and the speedway strongly recommends earplugs or noise cancelling headphones for children.
- Worried about rain? A delayed race, or one shortened by weather, gets nothing back, and there are no cash refunds. If the race is postponed, unused grandstand tickets bought directly from the speedway are good for the new date, or can be swapped within 60 days for a ticket of equal or lesser value to a NASCAR race at a participating track within one year; parking, camping and resale tickets are not covered.
- Want pit and garage access? Saturday's NASCAR ONE Trackside Supreme package (a pit and garage pass, a VIP area for driver introductions, a photo with the trophy and a Q&A with an MRN broadcaster) is currently sold out (2026); resale may be available. It is for guests aged 18 years and over and needs a separate admission ticket.
- Using a wheelchair? Accessible parking is in Lot 5, bought by phone on 866-409-7223 with a state disabled plate or hanging placard. Free assistance carts carry one guest and one companion (305-230-5077), Row 49 wheelchair seating is reached by the elevator behind Section 215, and every restroom is wheelchair accessible.
