Circuit of The Americas · Austin, United States1 Mar 2026Full day

About This Event

NASCAR's first road course race at Circuit of the Americas took place in 2021 — returning for a sixth consecutive season on the 2.4-mile National Course through the Texas hill country. The 95-lap race runs on a 20-turn layout with a 133-foot elevation change, including the uphill Turn 1 hairpin and recreated Silverstone Maggotts-Becketts-Chapel sequence.

What to Expect

  • NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Focused Health 250 shares the weekend
  • 95-lap Cup race on the National Course layout
  • Turn 15 grandstand views the back straight where cars hit 190+ mph
  • Turn 12 serves as critical passing zone under hard braking
  • Turn 1 sees frequent drama with three or four cars abreast entering

Best Way to Experience It

  • Turn 1 grandstand sits at the highest seating area offering panoramic views
  • Track Pass grants racing surface access for pre-race concert and driver introductions

Good to Know

  • Children 12 and under receive reduced admission to the Cup Series race
  • Free general parking available in Lots F, N and T
  • Premium parking sold in Lots A and E behind Main Grandstands
  • Re-entry allowed with hand stamp upon exit
  • March daytime temperatures range from 68°F to 73°F with cooler mornings

Is This Event Right For You?

  • Best fit if you enjoy urban racing — 2.4-mile National Course with 133-foot elevation change, iconic Turn 1 uphill hairpin, 20 turns, 15 miles from downtown Austin with dedicated shuttle service.
  • Best fit if you value grassroots accessibility — $10 general admission tickets (children 12-under $10 Cup Series, free Xfinity), military/educator/student discounts, family-friendly pricing across 47 US states, 10 countries.
  • Best fit if you like multi-day race weekends — Friday-Sunday NASCAR Cup Series and O'Reilly Auto Parts Xfinity Series action, two-series weekend format, 95-lap Cup race, paddock atmosphere.
  • Not ideal if you prefer traditional oval racing — Sixth season on National Course emphasizes road racing braking zones, elevation changes, technical corners rather than high-speed oval drafting.
