2026 NASCAR Brasil Series Round 1 - Autódromo Internacional de Santa Cruz do Sul

Season opener for the 2026 NASCAR Brasil Series at the Autódromo Internacional de Santa Cruz do Sul. The weekend features qualifying and a sprint on 11 April with main races and support categories on 12 April.

Expect multiple national categories trackside alongside NASCAR Brasil races, with local media coverage and a festival-style paddock atmosphere.

A compact, action-packed season opener at a technical 3.35 km circuit in Rio Grande do Sul with two NASCAR Brasil races across the weekend.

What makes it worth the trip:

• Official season opener with full NASCAR Brasil race program and support categories on the same weekend.
• Close sightlines and paddock access at a regional circuit where you can follow practice, qualifying and two races.
• Strong local turnout and media coverage that makes it lively without the congestion of major international events.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive for Saturday practice/qualifying to watch grid activity, then return Sunday for the main races. Use on-site paddock areas and official program/timing PDFs for session times. Book local accommodation in Santa Cruz do Sul early if you want to avoid same-day travel.

Good to know:

• The official event page and race timetable are published on nascarbrasil.com.br and the session PDF linked by organizers.
• Two NASCAR Brasil races are scheduled across the weekend, with additional national categories sharing the program.

• Great if you enjoy paddock access and close-up racecraft at a shorter regional circuit.
• Great if you like compact weekends where qualifying and main races are on consecutive days.
• Maybe skip if you prefer large international Grand Prix-style events with extensive fan zones.
