Is This Event Right For You?
Best fit if you value historic venues — MotoGP's return to Hungary after 33-year absence since 1992 Eddie Lawson victory, marking only third Hungarian Grand Prix, Round 8 of 78th FIM championship season.
Best fit if you enjoy purpose-built racing facilities — Balaton Park Circuit opened May 2023 with 4.08 km counter-clockwise layout, 18 corners, modified walls positioned further from track ensuring motorcycle safety standards.
Best fit if you value Lake Balaton tourism — 90 km southwest of Budapest near Hungary's largest lake, on-site 145-room four-star Balaton Park Hotel overlooks circuit, combines Grand Prix with resort destination access.
Not ideal if you prefer established European rounds — 2025 debut drew 80,105 spectators versus 120,000 venue capacity, smaller crowds than Mugello, Assen, or Silverstone, newer event still building tradition and atmosphere.
