About This Event
Formula E's return to the country where it all began — China hosted the first-ever Formula E race in Beijing in 2014, and Shanghai joined as the fourth Chinese location in 2024. Two all-electric World Championship races on consecutive days, using a 3.051km shortened layout of the circuit Hermann Tilke designed in the shape of the Chinese character for "ascend". Energy management, Attack Mode power boosts, and humid tropical conditions define the racing.
