2026 Chrome NZ Christchurch

Chrome NZ Christchurch is a weekend automotive expression session for modified cars, drift demos, show vehicles and aftermarket vendors at Euromarque Motorsport Park (formerly Ruapuna). The event runs Friday 27 February to Sunday 1 March 2026 and brings local and regional car communities together.

Expect car displays, track activity in designated demo sessions, vendor stalls and on-site hospitality from event partners. Organisers and the venue operate under standard circuit regulations; check the official event site for final programme and entry conditions.

A concentrated car-culture weekend at Euromarque Motorsport Park with show paddocks, timed demo sessions on the circuit and a marketplace of aftermarket vendors.

What makes it worth the trip:

• Large variety of modified cars and builds from across the South Island and beyond.
• On-track demonstration sessions that let spectators see vehicles in motion rather than just parked displays.
• Vendor stalls and sponsors offering gear, parts and event-specific activations.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive early on show days to secure good paddock viewing and vendor access. Use official parking areas at the circuit and follow stewarding instructions—Euromarque is an operational racetrack and some areas are only accessible at set times. Bring ear protection for track demos and plan food/rest breaks as facilities can be busy.

Good to know:

• The event is held at Euromarque Motorsport Park (Ruapuna); follow organisers' directions for paddock entry and public viewing.
• Events at the circuit commonly follow MotorSport New Zealand frameworks; expect safety briefings and marshal-controlled access for on-track activity.

• Great if you want a concentrated showcase of NZ modified-car culture.
• Great if you enjoy seeing cars both static and in controlled on-track demos.
• Great if you like shopping aftermarket gear and meeting builders and vendors.
• Maybe skip if you prefer formal motorsport racing without show paddock activity.
