About This Event
The very first race counting towards the British Touring Car Championship was staged at Brands Hatch in 1958, and the circuit has held at least one event every season since. Three races over two days on the 1.2-mile Indy layout — a seven-corner clockwise loop with Paddock Hill Bend's eight-percent gradient drop and the Druids hairpin anchoring the lap.

Is This Event Right For You?
Best fit if you enjoy multi-race competitions — three-race Sunday format after Saturday qualifying races, 40-minute Friday practice, rounds 4-6 of 30-round season, championship points accumulate across all three Sunday contests.
Best fit if you value motorsport heritage — 69th British Touring Car Championship season, Brands Hatch hosted BTCC's very first race Boxing Day 1957, circuit has held at least one BTCC event every season since 1958.
Best fit if you like passionate fan atmosphere — natural amphitheatre design offers views of almost entire 1.944km Indy circuit from any spectator position, dramatic Paddock Hill Bend 8% gradient descent, clockwise flow through seven corners including Druids hairpin.
Not ideal if you prefer prototype or single-seater racing — production-based touring cars with fender-to-fender contact rather than open-wheel prototypes, tight 1.944km Indy configuration emphasizes close-quarters battles over high-speed Grand Prix layouts.
