About This Event
Australia's second-oldest rally in the world, first run in 1921 as the Alpine 1000 Mile Trial — a three-day special stage event for two-wheel-drive classic rally cars on closed gravel forest roads through East Gippsland. Fields of around 100 entries tackle over 1,000km across stages near Lakes Entrance, Orbost and Nowa Nowa.
