2026 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival

Adelaide Street Circuit · Adelaide, Australia28 Feb – 1 Mar 2026Weekend

About This Event

First held in 2014 on a shortened 1.6km version of the Adelaide Street Circuit that hosted the Australian Grand Prix from 1985 to 1995. A non-competitive demonstration event with 13 categories of vehicles — from classic Formula 1 machinery to V8 Supercars, rally cars and motorcycles — each running timed super sprints in 30-second intervals across the Victoria Park layout. High-octane track action combined with a laid-back picnic atmosphere off-track.

What to Expect

  • Up to eighteen cars or motorbikes on track simultaneously throughout both days
  • New category every ten to fifteen minutes without gaps in action
  • Layout includes the hairpin and Senna Chicane from the original Grand Prix circuit
  • Accessible viewing platform at the hairpin is covered and dedicated to wheelchair users
  • Grand Marquee access included with admission to meet drivers and hear industry talks
  • Off-track activations include food trucks, bars, trade stalls, static displays and kids zones

Best Way to Experience It

  • Covered accessible platform at the hairpin provides shelter and dedicated space for wheelchairs
  • Elevated viewing tent near Wakefield Road offers raised sightlines shared with other patrons
  • Repco Beer Garden packages include trackside marquee, food and drink, viewing decks and displays

Good to Know

  • Entry and paid public parking accessed via Fullarton Road
  • All kids zone activities are free for ticket holders
  • Event is entirely smoke-free and vape-free in all spaces
  • Free Gouger Street Party kicks off the weekend on Friday evening
  • Adelaide late summer can be hot; bring sunscreen, hat and water

Is This Event Right For You?

  • Best fit if you value motorsport heritage — Victoria Park circuit uses sections of legendary Adelaide Street Circuit that hosted Australian F1 Grand Prix 1985-1995, racing past same landmarks Senna and Prost navigated.
  • Best fit if you enjoy multi-category demonstrations — 13 different vehicle categories rotate every 10-15 minutes, classic Formula 1 through V8 Supercars, touring cars, rally machines, motorbikes, spanning seven decades of motorsport history.
  • Best fit if you enjoy family-friendly car gatherings — "Picnic races atmosphere" combines trackside viewing with simulators, RC car racing, Scalextric tracks for kids, relaxed parkland setting encourages blanket seating, BYO food and drinks welcome.
  • Not ideal if you prefer competitive racing — demonstration format releases cars in 30-second intervals racing against clock rather than wheel-to-wheel battles, prioritizes variety showcase over lap time competition, untimed exhibition runs.

Cost Breakdown

Tickets are sold through the official festival pages and partner ticketing sites. Expect typical trip costs for accommodation in central Adelaide, local transport (Adelaide Metro, taxis/rideshare) and on-site food stalls. Book tickets and nearby hotels early for best availability.
